Worst Fit: Sacramento Kings

Please, for the love of everything that is great in the NBA, don’t let Myles Turner get traded to the Sacramento Kings. No offense to the Kings, but being traded to Sacramento puts you in purgatory, no where to be seen again.

Outside of De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton, the Kings don’t have many long-term pieces on their roster. Richaun Holmes is expected to depart in free agency, and both Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes could be moved via trade this offseason.

A team like Sacramento would love to have the opportunity to trade for a center like Myles Turner. But on the other hand, who would the Pacers want from the Kings that would entice them to do business with them?

With the lack of firepower on the roster, Sacramento would need Turner to be a player he’s not, putting him in a position to fall short of expectations.

Even though the Kings are likely going to need a center to replace Holmes, hopefully the Pacers don’t send Turner to Sacramento.
