Good Fit: Los Angeles Lakers
One of the many reasons why Myles Turner is no longer a fit with the Pacers is that he’s sometime leaned on to be one of the primary scorers.
While he’s a capable shooter and can do damage in the paint at times, Turner isn’t a guy you want relying on to score each and every night. That wouldn’t be an issue on the Los Angeles Lakers, who have LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and others who can shoulder the scoring workload.
Yes, the Lakers would want Turner to show some consistency from outside and make opportunistic three-point shots. But what they would really want from Turner is to create a stout front court duo alongside Davis.
Both Turner and Davis are among the best shot blockers in the association and putting them on the same team would be frustrating for opposing teams. That must be an intriguing thought from the Lakers’ perspective in its own right.

Adding Turner would induce more spacing on the floor for the Lakers and there would be no easy baskets on the other end with Turner and Davis joining forces.
