Good Fit: Golden State Warriors
Amid their two-year drought of missing the playoffs, the Golden State Warriors have shown they have holes to fill on the roster.
The hopeful return of Klay Thompson should fix the team’s problem of not having enough efficient shooting around Stephen Curry on the floor. But besides other players that can take attention off of Curry, the Warriors need someone that can be a menacing presence at the center position without sacrificing their spacing.
Golden State has used Kevon Looney, James Wiseman, and Willie Cauley-Stein in recent seasons. None of them were floor spacers, which made them matchup-dependent.
One way for the Warriors to drastically improve their roster is to get a center like Myles Turner via trade. He wouldn’t need to make a slew of threes to be effective as he can also be a shot-blocking fiend alongside Draymond Green in the front court.

Being able to field a lineup that has a center that doesn’t need to come off of the floor when they want to stretch the floor would be a new development for the Warriors.
