Myles Turner
Bolstering the frontcourt should be near the top of the Miami Heat’s to-do list this offseason. Dewayne Dedmon was signed in April and played a rather significant role for the team down the stretch and in the postseason.
That gives some insight into the situation the Heat were dealing with in the middle, as Bam Adebayo was and still is the only listed center on the roster. Acquiring another big man is imperative and the Heat could find that help in the form of Indiana Pacers center, Myles Turner.
The Pacers have been considering breaking up their jumbo frontcourt pairing of Domantas Sabonis and Turner for a while now, and this offseason it seems like they could pull the trigger on it.
Myles Turner is an elite rim protector, leading the NBA with 3.4 blocks per game during the 2020-21 season. It was the second time in three seasons that Turner led the league in blocks, as he also did it in the 2018-19 season with 2.7 per game.

In addition to the presence he brings defensively, Turner would help the Heat out offensively with his ability to spread the floor. As a 35.2 percent career 3-point shooter, Myles Turner would play alongside Adebayo in the frontcourt and not gum up the works on offense.
