Jerami Grant
In the last offseason, Jerami Grant was seeking a team that could provide him with a bigger role than the one he had with the Denver Nuggets. He wanted to be the go-to offensive player for a team and the Detroit Pistons provided him that. It ended up being a great match.
Grant had an excellent first season in the Motor City, averaging 22.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 blocks in 33.9 minutes per game. Signed to a very reasonable three-year, $60 million deal, the Pistons could look to cash in again by flipping Jerami Grant for some assets.
Grant has shown that he can be the go-to player on a team, but he doesn’t fit the Pistons’ timeline. Detroit has the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft and numerous other young players that they are developing. They could look to bolster that young core even further.
For Miami, Jerami Grant would fill the void they currently have at power forward. His scoring punch and ability to spread the floor would help take some pressure off of Jimmy Butler as the source of offensive production.

Grant, who finished second in the Most Improved Player Award voting last season, would be a strong addition to the Heat’s roster and help get them back to competing in the Eastern Conference.
