The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns in six games to win the 2021 NBA Championship. With the 2020-21 season officially having a bow put on it, the focus will turn to the 2021 offseason.

The offseason will officially get underway with the 2021 NBA Draft taking place on July 29th. There has already been one trade completed between the Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder, with Kemba Walker heading out of Beantown and Al Horford coming back to the organization he played with for three seasons.

That is far from the only trade that will go down this offseason, as trades will start coming at a furious pace beginning during the draft next week. Keep an eye on the many trade rumors that will be flying around the NBA as the action approaches.

There are a number of teams that are looking to move up in the draft order, as there are as many as five prospects that analysts believe have a chance to go first overall. Cade Cunningham out of Oklahoma State is the favorite to be selected first, but Jalen Green, Evan Mobley, Jalen Suggs and Jonathan Kuminga all could make a strong case for first overall.

There are also multiple teams that are looking to swap draft picks for established players, so there could be a lot of movement on draft night.

That is a lot of action to follow and that is before free agency even begins! While this free-agent class lacks star power or max free agents, there is still plenty of players that can help improve teams that are available.
