Worst Fit: Miami Heat

The Miami Heat are among the group of teams in the NBA that will be looking to address the point guard position ahead of next season.

Kendrick Nunn is a restricted free agent and there’s a decent chance the team declines the team option for Goran Dragic. Even though Kemba Walker somewhat fits what the Heat need, I don’t think he’d mesh well with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

For the Heat, they could use a point guard that can excel in catch-and-shoot situations since Butler is the primary ball handler on the team.

While Walker did show glimpses of being a decent catch-and-shoot player with the Celtics, he is much better off of the dribble.

Also, there’s the fact that the Heat would need to take in the rest of his expensive contract. Miami would be better off adding someone else than Walker this offseason as they hope to return to title contention in 2021-22.
