Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks are one game away from winning the 2021 NBA Championship. While that is where all of their focus will be, the front office does have to prepare for the offseason, and their bench will be the focus.

Bobby Portis will assuredly decline his player option and re-enter free agency this summer. He was a great addition to their bench, but it will cost the Bucks to bring him back. Jeff Teague is also going to be a free agent, so the team will need some reinforcements for their second unit.

Derrick Rose would present a great option for the Bucks. He would slide right in as the leader of the second unit, taking over for Teague. His scoring punch would be appreciated, especially if they are unable to bring Portis back.

The Chicago native would also provide the team with another playmaker and a legitimate backup option to Jrue Holiday should he have to miss time again at any point next season.

The Bucks won’t be able to pay Rose as much money as other teams, but the chance to compete for a title could be enough to sway his decision.
