Miami Heat
The Miami Heat could have a point guard issue this offseason. Goran Dragic has an expensive player option that the organization could have to decline so they can make other moves during the season. Kendrick Nunn is entering restricted free agency as well.
With both of their point guards from the last few seasons potentially hitting free agency, there is a chance one, if not both, has a new team for next season. Even if the team retains one, Derrick Rose would still be a great fit.
Rose could lead the Heat’s second unit with his scoring and playmaking. His leadership and experience would also be a good addition, as teams raved about the work he does with young players on a team.
Tyler Herro and Precious Achiuwa would be two players that would benefit from this if the Heat were to add Derrick Rose.

There is also a connection from his Chicago Bulls days with Jimmy Butler. Butler would assuredly be all for Rose coming aboard and helping the Heat do what they couldn’t accomplish in Chicago; win a championship.
