Pascal Siakam

No one knows the direction that the Toronto Raptors will go in this offseason. They are toeing the line between going for it as a contender or entering a quick rebuild. If they go the rebuild route, the Boston Celtics should be aggressive in pursuing Pascal Siakam.

Siakam would represent a rather big splash trade for Boston, something Danny Ainge was never able to pull the trigger on despite all of the assets he received from that deal with the Brooklyn Nets for Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry, But, Boston should be able to get a deal done without including Jaylen Brown.

In that scenario, Boston would have a strong trio in Siakam, Brown and Jayson Tatum to go forward with.

Having those three as a core to start your lineup with would unlock so many lineup combinations as All three are versatile players on both ends of the court with their length and athleticism.

Siakam wouldn’t help the Celtics in their quest to cut costs but would give them a player with championship experience that would catapult them right back to contending in the Eastern Conference.
