Does this trade make sense for the Golden State Warriors?
It began with drafting Stephen Curry in 2008 and the Warriors have been building a winner ever since. We have seen the blockbuster moves, such as signing Kevin Durant, made by the front office in hopes of remaining near the top of the league. After two down years, they could be just as aggressive as ever.
Paul George has proven that he can put up some big-time performances when it matters most. With that being said, he is still a bit inconsistent and could benefit from joining a team with other stars to take pressure off.
The Golden State Warriors seem like the perfect landing spot for George because he would not be the focal point of the offense but would still be able to contribute a lot to a championship-level team.
The Warriors are in win-now mode, especially with Klay Thompson coming back, and Paul George would keep them at that level. There would be an extreme level of shooting with them on the floor with Stephen Curry. They all can make plays with the ball while being elite off-the-ball.

Having Thompson back next season already feels like a big addition. It will be interesting to see if the Warriors look elsewhere for another blockbuster deal.
