The LA Clippers could be a storyline to watch this NBA offseason. They were unable to take that step toward a championship in the year two of their new regime and this could cause them to blow it up completely. The front office will have some decisions to make as the playoffs come to an end shortly.

The duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George was brought down in hopes of turning the Clippers in the championship contenders. That is what they have become but have been unable to come out of the Western Conference and compete for that chance.

There were rumors in the middle of the season that there could be some changes coming in Los Angeles if they did not win this year but that could change with the circumstances. Leonard was injured during the postseason and the Clippers were still able to make a run to the Western Conference finals.

If George is on the market, there will be plenty of interested teams and the Golden State Warriors could be one of them. Stephen Curry returned this season and showed that he is still one of the top players in the game. He led the league in scoring while lighting it up from three-point range once again.

Klay Thompson was out with an Achilles injury and this kept Golden State as one of the bottom teams. They were able to clear a spot in the play-in portion of the postseason but did not advance any further.

With Thompson returning, the Warriors will look to get back to their championship level. This NBA trade scenario centered around Paul George could improve the lineup even further once the whole season comes around.
