Good Fit: Miami Heat
In the event that Damian Lillard is disgruntled with his situation on the Trail Blazers, he’ll likely want to go somewhere that is inching toward a chance at a title.
The Trail Blazers are going to have a new-look roster this season, so it’s unknown if they’ll have a roster that can compete in the Western Conference. One team that is missing a couple of pieces before they cement themselves as championship contenders again is the Miami Heat.
Miami is thoroughly searching for someone that can mesh well alongside their All-Star duo of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Nearly a year ago, the Heat were in a grueling NBA Finals matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers.
After a first-round exit this season, Lillard would give the team a much-needed boost in the shooting department.
