1. Kyle Lowry
The Philadelphia 76ers went to the bell of the NBA trade deadline when trying to acquire Kyle Lowry from the Toronto Raptors. Ultimately Lowry stayed with Toronto, but Philadelphia should look to rekindle those talks again this offseason.
Lowry brings a lot to the table that the 76ers could use. He is a very good 3-point shooter, knocking down 39.6 percent of his attempts in 2020-21 and 36.8 percent in his career.
Lowry would also provide Philadelphia with another tenacious defender at the point of attack, giving them one of the best defensive trios should he join alongside Danny Green and Ben Simmons.
Having another facilitator in the starting five would also take some more pressure off of Simmons. Lowry could also create offense for himself, something the team lacks when the game slows down and is played more in the halfcourt in the postseason.

Like the other players on this list, the former Villanova product brings a ton of veteran leadership and championship experience. He knows what it takes to win a title and would help get the 76ers over that hump.
The Philadelphia native would be a perfect point guard for the team. The organization, as a whole, has to evaluate how to successfully use Ben Simmons, and one way would be using him in the frontcourt more. Adding a player of Lowry’s caliber would allow them to do that, as they would have a legitimate point guard option to turn to.
