2. Danny Green
Danny Green was acquired ahead of the 2020-21 season by the Philadelphia 76ers in an effort by Daryl Morey to help balance out their roster. He did exactly just that, as Green refound the shooting stroke that had abandoned him at times with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Green was an invaluable piece of the 76ers’ starting lineup, providing floor spacing and versatile defense. The former North Carolina product knocked down 42.1 percent of his catch-and-shoot 3-pointers last season and 40.5 percent overall.
When he went down with an injury in the team’s second-round series against the Atlanta Hawks, they were never the same. They were unable to replace his 3-point shooting and defense, as he can defend every position on the perimeter.
While retaining Green would be pricy, as the team would push into the luxury tax, it is something they have to do if they are serious about winning a championship.

Green is a championship-tested player that was a perfect fit for the 76ers schemes. Replacing him if he were to leave in free agency would be virtually impossible given their monetary restraints.
