1. Trade for Elite Point Guard
This is going to be the most important thing on the list for the Celtics in the offseason. They traded Kemba Walker to Oklahoma City and this left them with a hole at the top of the offense.
Walker did not fit in with the Celtics and had to be moved. Now that it happened, it is time to look for a replacement.
It will be interesting to see which direction the Celtics go here. There are some veteran point guards available in free agency this year such as Kyle Lowry and Mike Conley. The Celtics could look to sign one of them as they fit into the win-now ways of the team.
On the other hand, there are some bigger names that could be available via trade. De’Aaron Fox comes to mind and of course, Damian Lillard. This would be the ultimate blockbuster deal that solidifies the Celtics’ roster and turns them back into a championship contender.
