The Boston Celtics entered the regular season with hopes of making another run in the NBA postseason. This was not the case and they have their eye on next year. This is an important offseason that could be busy for many teams but that is especially true in Boston.

The Celtics dealt with some injuries and inconsistencies during the beginning of the season and they were unable to turn it around completely. Boston entered the postseason as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference and were eliminated in the first round by the Brooklyn Nets.

This was a disappointing season after coming in with expectations. Boston made a run to the Eastern Conference Finals a year ago and that is where they are looking to get back right away.

This offseason, there will be plenty of big moves coming from teams. The Celtics already got started when they sent Kemba Walker to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Brad Stevens is now in the front office after Danny Ainge decided to step down.
