2. Re-sign Evan Fournier
Evan Fournier has played out a five-year, $85 million deal he signed with the Orlando Magic. This was the final year of that deal and it forced the Magic to make him available at the trade deadline. The Celtics decided to take a chance and it did not pay off right away.
Fournier played just 16 games for the Celtics and scored 13 points per game. He shot the ball well, finishing 46.3% from beyond the arc. Because of this, Fournier should be re-signed by the Celtics.
Boston needs to keep some depth and explosiveness along the perimeter and Fournier could be that type of player. He has struggled with injuries but Fournier is a scorer when on the floor.
Fournier can create his own shot or light it up from three-point range. This gives the Celtics another perimeter scorer and another option that defenses have to worry about.

At 28 years old, Fournier still has plenty of good years left. Boston could look to take advantage of that and sign him to a long-term contract once free agency begins.
