Portland Trail Blazers

We start off the list of teams by making the argument that Portland should retain Norman Powell this offseason. When the Trail Blazers landed Powell via trade during the season, they were expecting to be getting a consistent source of scoring alongside Lillard and CJ McCollum.

While Powell didn’t consistently perform well on the floor, he did enough to warrant him being re-signed by Portland.

Lillard needs to be the main focus for the Trail Blazers this offseason, as the team should be targeting players that could convince him to stay.

Even though Powell isn’t a star player, he’s a player who has won a ring, and he gives Portland a variety of options with their lineup.

Besides bringing back Powell, the Trail Blazers could add other pieces in the summer to bolster their team around Lillard in what should be an interesting few months for Portland’s organization.
