The Portland Trail Blazers have some roster decisions to make this NBA offseason following the firing of Terry Stotts at head coach. The main focus for Portland this summer is to ensure that they are putting together a roster that pleases Damian Lillard.

Among the players that could be changing teams in the coming months is Norman Powell, who is set to enter NBA free agency.

Powell was acquired by the Trail Blazers ahead of this year’s NBA trade deadline in exchange for Rodney Hood and Gary Trent Jr. on the Toronto Raptors.

In the 27 games that Powell spent with Portland during the regular season, he recorded 17 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 36.1 percent from three-point range.

It was a down year for Powell in the three-point department during his stint with the Trail Blazers as he’s had three seasons in which he’s made 40+ percent of his threes. With teams looking for versatile wings, Powell could drum up a decent amount of interest from teams on the open market.

It remains to be unknown how much Norman Powell commands in NBA free agency, but certain teams could offer him an expensive deal. Heading into the offseason, here are a handful of teams that should consider signing Powell in NBA free agency.
