Chicago Bulls sign Dennis Schroder in NBA free agency
The Bulls need help at the point guard position. This has become even more of a pressing need with Coby White’s shoulder injury news, as he won’t be re-evaluated for at least four months.
That almost assuredly means he will miss the beginning of the season and doesn’t have a real timetable of when he will return to the court.
Luckily for the Bulls, there are several free-agent point guards they could sign to help fill the void. One they should aggressively pursue is Dennis Schroder.
Schroder reportedly turned down a four-year deal from the Los Angeles Lakers for more than $80 million. He is seeking a team that can provide him not only with a huge payday but lead playmaking duties as well. That will never happen on a LeBron James-led team, but the Bulls could provide him that.

Schroder could step right into the starting backcourt alongside LaVine, giving Chicago a strong duo to lead their offensive attack and filling arguably their biggest hole on the roster.
