The Indiana Pacers have sent mixed signals on how they feel about their current roster, saying they believe that a duo of Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner can coexist. Could this provide an opportunity for the Boston Celtics to capitalize via trade this NBA offseason?

When it’s all said and done though, either Sabonis or Turner will probably be dealt this offseason. Between the two, Turner is more likely to be traded, making him a trade target for multiple teams in the NBA. Despite reacquiring Al Horford recently, could the Boston Celtics make a push to trade for Turner.

Boston could use a rim protector like Turner after they’ve gone with a smaller center in recent seasons. And with Turner’s ability to space the floor, he wouldn’t ruin the spacing around Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

If they have a vision where Horford plays power forward or if he will come off the bench, Turner makes sense for Boston. It’s worth contemplating when considering Horford is 35-years-old and it remains to be seen how much he has left in the tank.
