Boston Celtics Receive: Myles Turner and 2021 second-round pick (via MIL)
Indiana Pacers Receive: C Tristan Thompson, C Robert Williams, G Payton Pritchard and 2023 first-round pick
Replacing Myles Turner with guys that could fill his void on the defensive end isn’t going to be an easy task. Thompson would help replace his rebounding, but he is an undersized forward that can be taken advantage of with size.
While the same can be said for Robert Williams, his shot-blocking could make him a player that interests the Pacers. After averaging 1.3 and 1.2 blocks per game in his first two seasons, Williams notched 1.8 blocks per game in the 2020-21 season.
Both Thompson and Williams would help fill the production left behind by Turner, even though they can’t space the floor like Turner can. And Pritchard would be included in the deal again to give the Pacers more depth in their backcourt.
Boston would be sending over a first-round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft to help Indiana accumulated more draft capital for the future.

If the Pacers want to absorb a couple of big men to replace Turner, Thompson and Williams could be headed to Indiana in a possible trade with Boston.
