Max Abmas (PG, Oral Roberts)
Another player that made the most of his opportunity in the NCAA Tournament was Max Abmas of Oral Roberts. Oral Roberts was a 15 seed in the tournament, but Abmas led them to two surprising wins over Ohio State and Florida before being eliminated in a close game versus Arkansas in the Sweet Sixteen.
During the regular season, Abmas was fantastic, recording 24.6 points and 3.8 assists per game while shooting an impressive 43.3 percent from three-point range.
Undersized guards can sometimes be overlooked (no pun intended) by NBA teams due to them sometimes being liabilities on the defensive end. Also, sometimes their offensive games don’t translate well to the association.
But in recent years, guys like Pritchard, Flynn, Jalen Brunson, Kendrick Nunn, and others have shown that smaller guards can still have success in the NBA.

Abmas is more than capable of scoring the rock, he’ll just need a team to give him a chance to prove his worth in the 2021 NBA Draft.
