The NCAA Tournament was a great time for certain prospects to show their talent, with Juzang and Abmas making names for themselves in front of thousands of people.
One of the biggest upsets in the first round of the tournament was when Ohio sent Virginia home as a 13 seed beating a four seed. Ohio was led by point guard Jason Preston, who hasn’t gotten much attention in the pre-draft process.
Preston’s story is remarkable as he averaged only two points per game as a senior in high school before deciding to attend UCF as strictly a student. His life would change when he joined an AAU team and attended a prep school that had a basketball team.
Then, he would create a highlight video of the games he played in, landing him an offer from Ohio. In his junior season with Ohio this year, dazzled with 15.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game.

Preston’s ability as a passer, and his improved shooting from outside (shot 39 percent in 2020-21) are skills that could make him an enticing late-draft prospect for teams.
