Johnny Juzang (SG, UCLA)
In the NCAA Tournament, the UCLA Bruins made an improbable run to the Final Four as an 11 seed. The Bruins would defeat BYU in the first round, Abilene Christian in the second round, Alabama in the Sweet Sixteen, Michigan in the Elite Eight, only to lose to a hot Gonzaga team in the Final Four.
One major reason why UCLA advanced further than expected was Johnny Juzang.
Juzang, a transfer from Kentucky, was able to produce 16 points and 4.1 rebounds per game while shooting 50.7 percent from the floor in his lone season with the Bruins.
He also knocked down 35.3 percent of his three-point attempts as he attempted 5.8 threes per game. The sophomore guard is a talented three-level scorer despite not being the most athletic player.
