New Orleans Pelicans
Another team that has plenty of draft capital to use is the New Orleans Pelicans. With the Pelicans conducting the Anthony Davis trade, they have five first-round picks at their disposal in the next three years.
Entering the offseason, New Orleans has to decide whether or not to retain Lonzo Ball. Ball is a restricted free agent, giving the Pelicans a chance to match any offer he receives.
In a scenario where they elect to move on from Ball, Jalen Suggs is a viable replacement in the draft. New Orleans currently has the 10th overall pick, and they have other assets they can involve in a possible trade up in the draft.
Suggs would provide the Pelicans with a long-term option at point guard, placing him alongside Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson as the building blocks for the franchise.
