Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks may no longer have Rick Carlisle at head coach and Donnie Nelson in the front office. And they may have hired Jason Kidd to replace Carlisle, who hasn’t had much success in the NBA as a head coach.
At the least, the Mavericks have Luka Doncic, a player that could convince certain stars to team up with him in NBA free agency or via trade. Whether it would be enough to land a superstar or not in the coming years remains to be seen. However, solid veterans should find them appealing.
Amid the moves that Dallas could make this offseason, it seems inevitable that Kristaps Porzingis won’t be with the franchise next season. Another move that the Mavericks need to make is finding Doncic a true point guard that can ease his workload on offense at times.
Kyle Lowry is a capable spot-up shooter and he can create for others, so he isn’t a point guard that would need the ball too much to be effective. He also plays stifling defense, which would be welcomed in Dallas.

With Lowry likely looking for a win-now roster, it remains to be seen if the Mavericks are ready to make a run at a title just yet.
