Miami Heat

The most likely — at least to me — and the most ideal landing spot for Lowry is the Miami Heat. Miami is always seeking ways to put a contending roster together with Pat Riley taking care of business in the front office.

The Heat saw that their duo of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo simply isn’t enough to compete for a title, so they need to add another star for them to compete in the Eastern Conference. That is where Lowry comes in.

Lowry would thrive on a team like Miami that is all about doing whatever it takes to win.

The Heat are just a year removed from making the NBA Finals, where they fell to the Lakers in six games. Before signing, Lowry would know exactly what he’s getting himself into in Miami, as the Heat don’t have any organizational issues.

Did I mention that Florida doesn’t have income tax? While there are other teams that could benefit him in other areas more, the perfect team for Lowry resides in South Beach.
