1. Re-sign Mike Conley
Mike Conley should be the main priority for the Utah Jazz this offseason. He was absent during the playoffs and it was noticeable. In free agency, Conley will have plenty of teams interested in the Jazz should be at the top of the list.
Conley is finally ending the monster contract he signed with the Memphis Grizzlies that made him the highest player in NBA history at the time. He will come with a discounted price tag this time around and that will benefit the Jazz.
Conley has improved three-point range and is one of the true marksmen in the league. He is often a steady hand that would help get other players involved within the flow of the half-court offense in ways that Mitchell isn’t wired to necessarily do.
Along with Mitchell, Conley makes up one of the best backcourts in the league. His veteran presence is something that the Jazz should want around if they want to win a title.
