1. Acquire Kyle Lowry in sign-and-trade
There is a very real chance that Jamal Murray could end up missing the duration of the regular season next year. If this is the case, the Denver Nuggets will have to improve at the top of the offense immediately.
There are plenty of options in NBA free agency and Kyle Lowry could be at the top of their list.
The Toronto Raptors did not trade Lowry at the NBA trade deadline which means they could be interested in a sign-and-trade this offseason. This is something that the Nuggets should be interested in if made available.
Lowry is a veteran point guard that knows how to lead a team in the postseason. He would work well with Jokic and provide that leadership on and off the floor. At his current age of 35, Lowry will not require a big price tag and this is also something that should intrigue Denver.

If Murray is out for an extended period of time, it is likely that the Nuggets look to improve at the position. Lowery should be at the top of their list if they want to accomplish this.
