Michael Porter Jr. is an interesting player to keep an eye on during the offseason. He was a steal when drafted because teams near the top were concerned about his injury history.

Porter Jr. is proving that he is healthy and has potential to be a star in the league. This has left Denver with a few options. The Denver Nuggets have seen Porter Jr. featured in some NBA trade rumors but they could be leaning toward a contract extension instead.

This would be the right move as Porter Jr. is looking like a blossoming star in the league. Denver and representatives of Porter Jr. have been in touch about a potential trade and it could happen as soon as this offseason.

Porter Jr. will have the peace of mind that he is not going anywhere for a long time and that could change a players mentality.
