4. Consider trading Aaron Gordon

The Denver Nuggets made a deal for Gordon at this year’s NBA trade deadline. The Orlando Magic made him available after deciding to sell all of their big names as the season went downhill.

When Aaron Gordon came over to Denver, the team got a new life in the regular season but that did not continue during the most important time.

Gordon brought energy on both ends of the floor down the stretch of the season. The Nuggets were able to make a run and finish as the third seed in the Western Conference. Once the postseason rolled around, Gordon’s ability to score got put on display.

The Suns shut him down and this could raise some questions about his status with the Nuggets. Gordon is entering the final year of his contract where he is set to make upwards of $16 million. The Nuggets could look to make the same decision as the Magic and send Gordon away for a return.

This will all depend on what Denver believes they can get back for Gordon. It will be interesting to see the route the front office takes because this is one of the biggest question marks in the offseason.
