Kenrich Williams
Before the NBA trade deadline this season, I thought multiples teams were going to express interest in getting Kenrich Williams from the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder were playing to earn better odds in the NBA Draft lottery, making Williams a possible trade candidate.
Sadly, no teams made a push for Williams, keeping him on Oklahoma City’s roster for the rest of the season. Luckily for teams, they have an entire offseason to inquire about Williams if they want to. Williams is one of my favorite under-the-radar trade options due to his versatility on the floor.
After spending two years with the New Orleans Pelicans, Williams spent the past season with the Thunder. In an expanded role in Oklahoma City, Williams notched a career-high eight points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game on a career-best mark of 44.4 percent from behind the three-point line.
What makes Williams an intriguing player is that he played anywhere from point guard to power forward for Oklahoma City this season.
