Danuel House Jr.
Besides veteran point guards, versatile wing players are another popular trade target for teams around the association. Having a wing player that can shoot threes and defend has become a common theme in the NBA, allowing some guys to carve out a niche in the league.
As I mentioned before, the Rockets are a team to target if you’re a team looking to add underrated players via trade. Aside from Augustin, Danuel House Jr. may become a player that draws some buzz on the trade market this offseason.
In the past three seasons with Houston, House has operated as a small forward, but he’s also capable of playing at shooting guard. He’s even spent time as a small-ball power forward that can incite spacing on the floor as a career 36.4 percent shooter from three-point range.
House has never been a steady scorer or a tantalizing defender consistently, but his skillset fits what a lot of teams are looking for in a wing. The former undrafted player out of Texas A&M is a capable perimeter defender that can play multiple positions.
