Toronto Raptors
It was a disappointing year for the Toronto Raptors, who would conclude the season as the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference at 27-45. At the NBA trade deadline, the Raptors decided to hold onto Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam in hopes they could compete for a spot in the play-in tournament.
Following a year where they missed the playoffs, the Raptors now has the No. 4 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, and Lowry is expected to test NBA free agency this summer.
Times are changing for the Raptors, but that doesn’t mean the team isn’t going to attempt to put together a contending roster this offseason.
Regardless of whether or not the team elects to move Siakam, Wood would fit well at either power forward or center. Both players have he necessary versatility to be a fit alongside each other and do so quite nicely.

At the center position, the Raptors would be able to field a lineup that has five three-point shooters on the floor. A potential starting lineup of Jalen Suggs, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, Siakam, and Wood could be enough to get Toronto back into the fold in the Eastern Conference.
