CJ McCollum – Portland Trail Blazers
The “home run” acquisition for the Pacers this offseason if they were to trade Myles Turner would be CJ McCollum. For years now, Indiana has shown interest in McCollum and his talents as an all-around offensive-playmaker, which is why targeting him this offseason in a Turner-oriented trade would make sense.
They do have Caris LeVert and TJ Warren, but if the Pacers were to add CJ McCollum, they would instantly become one of the best offensive teams in the Eastern Conference because of all of the options they would have, assuming they remain healthy.
This season with the Blazers, CJ McCollum averaged 23.1 points, 4.7 assists and shot 40.2% from three-point range. He is exactly the kind of offensive threat that teams will be looking to add this offseason, which is why he is the best player the Pacers could get in a trade for Myles Turner.
On Portland’s side of things, they do not want to trade McCollum necessarily this offseason, but they need to find ways to get better defensively. Trading CJ McCollum for Turner definitely helps them on defense and then gives them the ability to potentially move Jusef Nurkic for more talent to surround Damian Lillard with.

Who knows what the Trail Blazers have planned in terms of adding talent to their roster this offseason, but Myles Turner is definitely a player they could show interest in. If they do want to go after Turner in the offseason, then giving up CJ McCollum may be the asking price.
