2. Karl-Anthony Towns to the Golden State Warriors
There has been nothing showing that the Minnesota Timberwolves would trade Karl-Anthony Towns this summer. But with the franchise having no direction or plan to compete for a title anytime soon, Towns could force his way out. If Towns expressed his desire to be traded, nearly the entire league would be making calls to the Timberwolves to try and acquire the talented big man. And why wouldn’t they?

Towns is arguably the best shooting big in NBA history, shooting 38 percent or better from three-point range in the past four seasons. The former first-round pick out of Kentucky has also produced five consecutive seasons of scoring 21+ points and recording 10+ rebounds. He also is a formidable defender, logging 1.4 blocks per game in his career.
I’m convinced that Towns would become a more beloved and respected player if he were to have an opportunity to play for a bigger market team. With his ability to shoot, Towns would be a home-run addition to the Golden State Warriors. Towns wouldn’t mess up the spacing in the offense, he could be the second or third-best scorer on the roster, and he can protect the rim.
Instead of waiting for Andrew Wiggins and James Wiseman to evolve into the players they want them to be, the Warriors can ship both of them — and more — for Towns this offseason to show that they are gunning for a title once more.
