The Hypothetical Trade

New York Knicks Receive: F/G Andrew Wiggins

Golden State Warriors Receive: C Mitchell Robinson, F Kevin Knox II, 2021 1st Round Pick (via DAL), 2021 2nd Round Pick (via DET)

Wiggins would be the player going to New York. The former first overall pick has had trouble finding a consistent home because of his lack of growth on the offensive end. Wiggins would bring a different dynamic to the Knicks, but not quite the one that they might be looking for.

New York has assets they would be able to send Golden State. The trade begins with Mitchell Robinson and a first-round pick in this year’s draft. The Knicks have two picks in the draft with one being from the Dallas Mavericks that they acquired in the Kristaps Porzingis deal. Kevin Knox and a second-round pick would also be going to the Warriors.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this deal would benefit both sides right away.
