Make no mistake, Pat Riley has never been one to be content with his roster, and this offseason shouldn’t be any different. The championship executive will be looking to build a lethal roster in the Eastern Conference in hopes to return to the NBA Finals.

When the Miami Heat were knocked out expeditiously by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs, it lit a fire under Riley to begin working on plans for an exciting offseason.
The biggest name that will be mentioned in NBA trade rumors is Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards. Beal would be a terrific addition to the duo of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. But if Beal isn’t available for the Heat to acquire, McCollum would be a fantastic contingency plan.
Having a guard that can score in a variety of ways like CJ McCollum to ease some pressure off of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo would do wonders for the Heat.
