This offseason could be detrimental when it comes to the current rebuild of the Houston Rockets. They finished the season with the worst record in the NBA and could turn things around quickly if the front office pushes the right buttons. That includes on draft night and in the trade market.

The Rockets would land Cade Cunningham if they win the lottery. This would give them their next franchise player to lean on for years to come. As we have seen in the NBA, star players need to team up in order to get to the top.

That is what the Rockets could look to do in a trade such as this one. Karl-Anthony Towns is one of the best big men in the league and a player who has been in and out of NBA trade rumors for years now.
