The last team on this list is one that would make a trade for Kemba Walker just because they have the financial room to make a move. Sam Presti has taken a liking to making trades that result in the Oklahoma City Thunder stockpiling more draft picks. In recent seasons, the Thunder have traded away Chris Paul, Dennis Schroder, Danilo Gallinari, and Steven Adams, among others.

This time around, the Thunder could add an exciting veteran while also adding more draft capital to their collection. Especially since they will have a great chance at adding an intriguing young prospect through the 2021 NBA Draft and have plenty of future picks to go along with it, too.
It goes without saying that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the one definitive franchise cornerstone on the Thunder right now. Giving him a veteran point guard like Kemba Walker could help him improve off of the ball, as well as build on his ability to distribute the ball.
Oklahoma City is projected to have the second-most cap space in the NBA this summer, making them a team that could continue to be involved in trade discussions. If the Celtics are looking for a team to dump Walker’s salary on, they should look no further than the Thunder.
