There are only two types of teams that would even consider making a trade for Kemba Walker this offseason. The first type of team is one that is searching for a decent complementary option that can work alongside their solidified cornerstones.

Though, it should be noted that the Celtics thought it would work well, and Walker struggled to find his role alongside Tatum and Brown. The other type of team is one that fits the description of the Detroit Pistons.
The Pistons are a team that has cap space to consume the rest of Kemba Walker’s contract, helping Boston free up money in the process. As for the Pistons, they’d land a big-name player that could mentor some of the younger guards, along with getting future draft capital.
Once again, it’s tough to pinpoint teams that would even think about pulling the trigger on a 31-year-old point guard that has experienced injury concerns in recent seasons, that also has a massive contract. The Pistons are one of the only teams in the NBA that could possibly fit the rest of Walker’s contract without having to surrender an expensive player in return.
