NBA trade rumors were leading up to the deadline that the Sacramento Kings could trade Harrison Barnes. Barnes is a steady veteran and played well with Sacramento as a stretch-four and could fetch the organization a solid return package. If he is moved on from, the Kings could target someone such as Otto Porter Jr.

While Porter Jr. has dealt with injuries the last few seasons, but he has proven to be a lethal 3-point shooter in his career, making 40.2 percent of his attempts. Porter Jr. is also an above-average defender, something the Kings desperately need.

Since he has played only 42 games the previous two seasons, he could come cheap in NBA free agency so he can rehab his value. Even if Barnes remains with the team, adding someone of Otto Porter Jr.’s caliber to the wing depth chart would be a smart move.
