James Johnson
The Milwaukee Bucks were the winners in the P.J. Tucker sweepstakes before the NBA Trade Deadline. His defense and corner 3-point shooting are something that contending teams crave. However, Tucker is also a free agent at the end of the season and will have plenty of suitors.

If the Bucks can’t re-sign Tucker, they will have to dip into free agency to try and find a replacement for him. James Johnson would be an intriguing option for them if they need to replace Tucker.
While Johnson isn’t the perimeter shooter that Tucker is, he brings a level of toughness the Bucks have sometimes lacked in the postseason. He would help the team on the interior as well, a place they have been lacking some depth in recent seasons.
Johnson is a tough defender and can even facilitate a little bit, which would help Mike Budenholzer get Giannis Antetokounmpo into areas for him to flourish.
