Rose brings a lot to the table that the Bucks are lacking. He would give them a legitimate backup point guard and an upgrade on Jeff Teague, who has yet to appear in either playoff game this year.
Landing Rose would greatly improve Milwaukee’s second unit, as he has proven that he can still fill up the basket with the best of them. Prying him away from New York could prove to be difficult, especially if the money is similar from both teams.
It would be difficult to envision Derrick Rose departing from the Knicks given the success he’s achieved. However, if he wants to play for a legitimate title contender, the Bucks would be an intriguing possibility for him to consider as he would be playing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday, and Khris Middleton.
