1. Serge Ibaka, Forward, Los Angeles Clippers

The Wizards look to have found a solid rotation piece in Daniel Gafford in the middle, but they could use another veteran in their frontcourt. With Alex Len and Robin Lopez both set to hit free agency, upgrading this spot could be where they spend the money they have available to them.

If Serge Ibaka opts out and decides to leave the LA Clippers, he would be an ideal target for the Wizards. He would bring floor spacing offensively and some rim protection defensively. Ibaka has a ton of playoff experience and has also played alongside Westbrook previously, so there will be some continuity there already.

If Ibaka doesn’t leave Los Angeles, center is still a need for Washington. There are a few intriguing options in free agency this summer, as Richaun Holmes and Nerlens Noel would also make sense if they don’t retain either of their centers.

This is definitely a target to keep an eye on. Ibaka would be a perfect running mate for Westbrook and Beal with the Wizards.
