Tim Hardaway Jr. is earning himself a major payday in the offseason
Luka Doncic has been fantastic in this series, but so has Tim Hardaway Jr, who has arguably been the Mavericks’ second-best player in this series. He scored 21 points on 8-13 shooting, including 5-9 from downtown, in Game 1 and in Game 2, Hardaway Jr. continued his hot shooting as he scored 28 points on 9-14 shooting, including 6-8 from three.
Tim Hardaway Jr. is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer and given the way he has played down the stretch-run of the regular season and now in the NBA playoffs, he is earning himself more and more money every time he steps out onto the court!

The 8-year veteran sharpshooter is proving how valuable he is to the Mavericks in this series against the Clippers and if he continues to shoot at a high-level, then he is going to be rewarded with a pretty hefty, long-term contract this offseason.
Currently, Hardaway Jr. is in the final-year of his roughly $71M contract and is making about $19M this season, but next year and moving forward, he could be earning himself another similar contract or even one that eclipses $20M/year!
Kristaps Porzingis is the Mavericks’ second-best player on their roster, but Tim Hardaway Jr. has stepped up and has been arguably the second-best player in this series from both teams!
