Luke Doncic is toying with the Clippers

79 minutes, 70 points, 17 rebounds, 18 assists and a whole lot of highlight reel content. This is what Luka Doncic has done so far through two games against the Clippers and as a result, he has helped give the Mavericks a totally unexpected 2-0 series lead against the Los Angeles Clippers as they go to Dallas for the next two games of the series.

Through his first 8 playoff games, Luka Doncic is now averaging 32.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 8.8 assists, which is unheard of for a 22-year-old in the league. He has dominated the Clippers so far in this series and that is likely to continue into Game 3.

He is getting to his spots and knocking down some circus shots against the Clippers and was doing that all-night against them in Game 2. From shooting rainbow floaters over Kawhi Leonard to taking Patrick Beverley one-on-one to the basket, to hitting a side-step three-point shot while on one leg falling to his left, Luka Doncic basically looks like he is playing a game or “H-O-R-S-E” out there against the Clippers!

Luka is showing everybody why he is one of the league’s top players and why he deserves to be in the MVP conversation through the first two games of this series. He has been as good as he possibly could be and against one of the best defensive teams in the league, Luka Doncic is making L.A. look like a bunch of “wannabes.”

The Clippers can do everything they want to try and stop Luka Doncic, but right now, he is on another level and is not going to be slowing down anytime soon.
