It is clear as day to see that the Celtics clearly do not have enough firepower to beat the Brooklyn Nets in this series, and that was very apparent in their Game 2 loss in Brooklyn. The Celtics gave up 130 points to the Nets and their “Big 3” only combined for 47% of the Nets’ total points!

Guys like Joe Harris, and Blake Griffin picked Boston apart in Game 2 of this series and moving forward, I really do not know what else the Celtics can try and do. They played great defense at times, but the Nets offense is just simply better and their ball movement in this series has looked like the Harlem Globetrotters at times.
Unfortunately for the Celtics, they are playing the role of the Washington Generals right now and there is nothing they can do about it. Kevin Durant is locked in, James Harden is playing his role of distributor perfectly and at full strength, it is hard to see this Nets team losing to a depleted and beaten up Celtics team.
Losing Jaylen Brown really hurt the Celtics because they not only lost his offensive production, leaving them with a major hole in their starting rotation, but they lost his defense as well, which would have been crucial on Kevin Durant and others.
